티몰, white Crystal or crystalline powder, and carvacrol are isomers having been found in  thyme got its name.

기분 좋은 향기로운 냄새. 에탄올과 같은 유기 용제에 용해되며 물과 글리세린에 약간 용해됩니다.

강한 부식 효과가 있고, 강력한 방부제이며 꿀벌에 대한 Varroa 진드기의 수를 조절하고 책을 묶고 마취제로 에틸렌에 III 불소 염소 브롬을 첨가하는 데 사용됩니다.

티몰 has been used in alcohol solutions and in dusting powders for the treatment of tinea or ringworm infections, and was used in the United States to treat hookworm infections.

중동 사람들은 내부 기생충을 줄이고 제거하기 위해 다량의 백리향으로 만든 진미 인 자 타르를 계속 사용합니다.

또한 마취제 인 할로 탄의 방부제와 구강 청결제의 방부제로도 사용됩니다. 플라크와 치은염을 줄이기 위해 티몰을 사용할 때 순수하게 사용하는 것보다 클로르헥시딘과 함께 사용할 때 더 효과적인 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.

티몰 is also the active antiseptic ingredient in some toothpastes, such as Johnson & Johnson's Euthymol. 티몰 has been used to successfully control varroa mites and prevent fermentation and the growth of mold in bee colonies.

티몰 is also used as a rapidly degrading, non-persisting pesticide. 티몰 can also be used as a medical disinfectant and general purpose disinfectant.
